Ah, Teeth!

Olive has been teething lately. Not much fun for any of us, but, in life, I'm sure she will enjoy having teeth. For now, she just enjoys gnawing on these messy biscuits.

Just an Update ...

We are all feeling well, sleeping well, and going about our standard weekly lives. It isn't too exciting, but it sure is nice.

Tummy Bug

Olive is under the weather. Actually, we hope she is on the mend now, but we're playing the wait and see game.

But, Kyle and I want you to know, just because you have been vomited on does not mean that you have experienced projectile vomiting. Apparently, the vomit must fly 3 to 5 feet in order to properly be 'projectile' in nature. Olive's - while dramatic - has not (so far) risen to that standard.

Yup. We learned some fun stuff in the last 12 hours ...

Easter 2010

We had a great weekend. We ran tons of errands, had some photos taken of Olive (thank you, Stacy!!), and spent some time just breathing. It was wonderful!

Sunday we attended Easter services at our church (although technically not at our church, the Gathering held Easter service at the Pageant here in St. Louis), enjoyed a pot-luck lunch with friends, and snapped a few photos ourselves in our re-vamped back yard. The weather was beautiful, but Olive wasn't totally keen on the bright sunshine and warm breezes. I think the advent of spring is confusing her a bit.

Family ...

We hope you all had a wonderful Easter weekend too!

Because it makes me giggle ...

So this is Peepshi from Serious Eats. It has been dancing through my head all day. Making me seriously happy about absolutely nothing.

Maybe you will giggle too.

I Couldn't Resist ...

This is our backyard. The grass arrived today, and I just couldn't resist letting both Olive and Zoe enjoy it (for a minute, Baby, only a minute!!). As you can tell, they were both very curious about the whole thing. (Zoe subsequently freaked out and ran in circles all around the yard. I'm pretty sure I fixed all of the grass she rustled up.)

We'll let the grass take root for awhile yet and then let the girls enjoy for real.

But the current verdict? Very, very nice.
